Growth and Learning
We believe that play-based learning is essential for fostering creativity, problem solving skills, and social development, allowing children to explore, experiment, and make meaningful connections in an engaging environment.
We honour children’s voices and value their contributions, viewing them as competent and capable drivers of their learning and development. We are dedicated to fostering positive dispositions towards learning by nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset, helping children develop a love for exploration and a confident approach to new challenges.
We seek to foster an ecological conscience in all children by embedding sustainable practices that they contribute to, assisting them to become global citizens.
Educators pride themselves on being Early Childhood Professionals who are active researchers. They understand the importance of critically reflecting on their practice, attitudes and current theoretical research, as well as incorporating the principles, practices and learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Nationala Quality Framework (NQF) into the daily program and their practices.
We are committed to supporting families in their journey of growth and learning about their children, providing resources, guidance, and a collaborative partnership to empower them in nurturing their child’s development.
We acknowledge and strive to foster respectful relationships with the Worimi people, the traditional custodians of the land and country in our region.
We believe that positive, collaborative relationships between educators creates a supportive and unified team, enhancing the quality of care and learning for every child in our preschool.
